Assumption of risks

• You acknowledge that your participation in the retreat and all of its activities are voluntary, and understand that travel involves numerous risks and dangers including, but not limited to, risk of illness, injury or death.

• You agree that physical activities are taken at your own risk. WOD Around the World is not liable for any injuries you may incur, or medical conditions which may develop during the retreat.

• You understand that the partner box will have its own waiver, which you must sign to use their facilities.

• It is your responsibility to let WOD Around the World know if you have any injuries before the start of our trip.

• It is your responsibility to let WOD Around the World know if you have any dietary requirements before the start of our trip.

• It is your responsibility to be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability during the trip. If you experience any injury or discomfort, during any activity during the retreat, then you must stop and let us know immediately.

• It is your responsibility to consult your health care team prior to departure to ensure you are physically able to participate in the activities planned.

Release

• You agree that you will not make a claim against or initiate a legal claim against WOD Around the World or any of our partner boxes, coaches, or vendors for bodily injury, death, psychological injuries or property damage resulting from your participation in the retreat or any of its activities

• You agree to release WOD Around the World and our partner boxes, coaches, and vendors from and against any and all liability arising from your participation in the retreat and its activities

• If any portion of this agreement is unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in effect.

• WOD Around the World may be liable to any retreat participant for up to the cost of the retreat booked. 

• WOD Around the World is not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal property 

Cancellations

• WOD Around the World does not accept liability for and reserves the right to cancel any retreat and prior to departure for the below reasons, in addition to force majeure. The refund of all booking payments to guests will serve as an accord and satisfy WOD Around the World from any further liability.  

  • Minimum number of guests

    • Our retreats require a minimum of 50% capacity to be confirmed 30 days prior to the start date. If this minimum number is not reached in time, WOD Around the World reserves the right to cancel the trip. Should this occur, WOD Around the World will issue you a full refund, including your deposit and any subsequent payments. 

  • Covid-19 public health regulations

    • If the local public health policy prohibits gatherings and events from taking place, WOD Around the World will need to postpone the retreat and will notify you as soon as we have a new date. Should this occur, you may choose to move your booking to the next available date, or obtain a full refund.

• If you choose to cancel your trip for any reason, you must do so in writing by emailing info@WODaroundtheworld.com. Cancellation is only confirmed with a response from us. Please keep in mind the following timelines:

  • Your 50% deposit is non-refundable but is transferable

  • The balance of the 50% must be paid at least month prior to departure date, and may be refunded as long as cancellation notification is provided 30 days prior to the date of departure

Booking Confirmation

• Once you have reserved your space on a WOD Around the World retreat, you will be sent Terms and Conditions and a Venmo payment request. As spaces are limited, we unfortunately cannot hold your spot with just the reservation. Your retreat space will only be confirmed once you have signed the Terms and Conditions, sent us proof of your Covid-19 vaccine, and paid your 50% deposit via Venmo. The balance of the trip is required at least a month prior to the departure date of the retreat.

Travel and travel insurance

• You acknowledge and agree that travel arrangements to the named airport for the given retreat are your responsibility and are not included in the cost of the retreat. 

• WOD Around the World is not liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel (example, an expiring passport)

• We highly recommend that you take out travel insurance. 

• We highly recommend that you have health insurance to cover the risk of injury during the trip.

Privacy Policy

• You agree that we may share any physical limitations or dietary requirements you may have with our retreat coaches and our chef, respectively. 

• Any photos or videos taken by WOD Around the World during retreats are the property of WOD Around the World, and you acknowledge and agree that these may be used for future promotional purposes.  If you do not want your image to be used, you must notify WOD Around the World in writing.
